If your battery is no longer functioning, it must be replaced — not repaired. No repairs, modifications, or internal servicing of any kind should be performed on the battery pack. A faulty battery that has been tampered with is dangerous and cannot be trusted.

Never open, disassemble, puncture, scratch, or crush the battery casing. Never cut, splice, re-solder, or modify the battery wires or connectors in any way. Any physical damage to the battery — internal or external — renders it unsafe for use.
